Optical imaging of the inner wall of a borehole – inspecting internal surfaces using optical measuring technology

At the end of the year, things will be quieter in the hall and offices for a few days. A good moment to pause and reflect.

Over the past twelve months, we have again received numerous components for which it was initially unclear whether they could be optically inspected. This is precisely the part of our work that we enjoy most: placing the component under the camera, using light and sensors until the feature becomes visible – and ultimately being able to say whether it's possible.

We thank our customers for their trust and often very open technical collaboration. We thank our partners and suppliers for their reliability, even when things got tight. And we thank our team in Aachen for their willingness to persevere with difficult tasks until a solution is found.
