Matrix cameras or line scan cameras often reach their limits in very fast, high-resolution inspections because they have low light transmission at short exposure times. That's why we use TDI technology in our MICRO.SPECTOR and VISION.SPECTOR inspection systems. TDI (Time Delay and Integration) camera technology functions like a line scan camera with many consecutive lines. By integrating light from the moving image, the light transmission is significantly increased. This allows us to perform high-resolution surface inspections of, for example, masks, wafers, injection-molded parts, films, or fabrics much faster with TDI.
