How Machine Vision systems work

How do machine vision systems work?

Machine vision refers to systems that capture images of products or processes, automatically analyze them, and derive decisions from them.

Unlike traditional image processing, MABRI.VISION's machine vision operates in real time, is highly flexible, and utilizes artificial intelligence and deep learning methods. This means the systems not only "see" but also interpret images in real time and make decisions – for example, about whether a component meets specifications or not.

Typical components of a machine vision system are:

  • High-resolution cameras
  • Optical components (lighting, lenses)
  • Software for image analysis
  • Interfaces for machine control

The systems detect errors, measure dimensions, check surfaces or read codes – automatically and often faster and more accurately than would be possible manually.
