With the CARRIER.SPECTOR, MABRI.VISION offers an inline-capable vision solution for seamless quality inspection in your production line. The CARRIER.SPECTOR enables non-contact inspection of 2D and 3D component characteristics and can be seamlessly integrated into the system environment using common industrial interfaces.

Special properties of the CARRIER.SPECTOR are the high speed of the inspection processes, which enables inspection in the production cycle, as well as the turnkey system structure.

A particularly high test cycle can be achieved through the use of goods carrier systems. With the CARRIER.SPECTOR you can carry out complete inspections with a production cycle of less than 5 seconds. With a 24/7 utilization of your production capacity, more than 5 million parts pass through the test system every year.

Large field of view

In order to map the required test protocols of our customers, we combine different sensors in the test system. The combination of laser triangulation and optical micrometer for 3D feature recognition and large-area telecentric vision systems with cameras for 2D feature detection are often used.

FAQs on the CARRIER.SPECTOR

All around the testing facility

With our machine vision software we can check for dimensional accuracy, defects, anomalies & presence as well as read barcodes, QR codes, data matrix codes and OCR. We would be happy to coordinate the test task with you.  

We integrate matrix cameras from 0.3 MP to 50MP as well as line scan cameras up to 17k. With triangulation sensors, the line width ranges from 8 mm to 320 mm. Due to the platform character of the CARRIER.SPECTOR, special sensors such as code readers can also be integrated.  

The CARRIER.SPECTOR is designed in such a way that we can also connect alternative cameras or sensors to the system. It is not possible for the customer to integrate any cameras or sensors. The system has digital I/Os so that other actuators, such as grippers, can also be integrated into the system.

The CARRIER.SPECTOR can be operated as a stand-alone system or integrated into a line. In the event that the system is integrated into your production processes, we will plan the mechanical and electrical interfaces with you. Components can be supplied via conveyor technology, goods carriers or robots. If you are looking for a turnkey overall solution, please contact us. We are happy to support you with the planning and implementation.

The CARRIER.SPECTOR can be controlled via Profinet, TCP/IP, Digital I/O.

We also offer a variant of the CARRIER.SPECTOR that can be operated in the clean room. In addition to an FFU, we also offer automatic lifting doors and cleaning units for the system.

We are limited by the size of the installed linear axes. This results in a maximum test volume of around 1,000 x 1,000 x 600 mm. If you would like to have a larger component tested, please do not hesitate to contact us.

All about software

We are continuously integrating further modules into our platform. Modules such as user management, batch management, automation designer, test procedures, databases or audit trails are already integrated. If you have special requirements, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Movement sequences of the axes can be adapted by the operator using our automation designer after training. We are also working on the fact that test recipes can be adapted independently by our customers.

The CARRIER.SPECTOR is a turnkey test facility that can be operated as a single cell. Due to the large working area of ​​the portal system, different component sizes can be tested. This makes the system very flexible and does not need to be set up. This flexibility makes the CARRIER.SPECTOR ideal for dynamic production planning.

Training & Services

As part of the commissioning, we offer basic training on the operation and maintenance of the CARRIER.SPECTOR. In order to adapt program processes, we recommend expert training, which we can carry out on site at your production site.

We offer modules for calibrating the machine vision system. If desired, a regular repetition of the calibration is specified and documented in the test plan. This ensures that the GANTRY.SPECTOR only carries out calibrated tests.

We offer maintenance and service contracts for the CARRIER.SPECTOR at different levels. We would be happy to coordinate a suitable offer with you.

In case of technical problems or software problems, our customer service is at your disposal. Depending on the service contract, we offer different response times and availability periods.
