D Layout not Blog On the high seas – Our team event 2019

The undisputed highlight of the year for MABRI.VISION employees was the team event on the high seas, which took place in October 2019 to mark the company's fourth anniversary.

Our weekend together began with a car journey to the port of Harlinger in the Netherlands, 340 kilometers away. There, the "Lauwerszee," a 26-meter-long and 5.80-meter-wide sailing ship, was already waiting for the MABRI.VISION crew, ready to host us for the weekend.

Our skipper taught us the basic tasks on the "Lauwerszee," such as setting and furling the sails. We set our first course and headed towards the nearby island of Terschelling. There we docked and spent our first evening, which began with preparing dinner together.

The next morning brought perfect sailing weather, a good breakfast, and a new course. We continued on to our next destination, the island of Vlieland. We began the second evening with a walk on the beach, which even lured some of the braver among us into the water.

The shared activities on board, the communal cooking and eating, the long and lively evenings, and of course a few minor bouts of seasickness, not only brought us valuable memories as a group, but also further strengthened our bond.
