How do Machine Vision systems work?
Machine vision denotes systems that take pictures of products or processes, automatically analyze and derive decisions from them.
In contrast to classic image processing, the machine vision of Mabri.Vision works in real time, is highly flexible and uses procedures of artificial intelligence and deep learning. This means that the systems not only "see", but also interpret pictures in real time and make decisions - for example, whether a component corresponds to the specifications or not.
Typical components of a machine vision system are:
- High -resolution cameras
- Optical components (lighting, lenses)
- Software for image evaluation
- Interfaces for machine control
The systems recognize errors, measure dimensions, check surfaces or read codes - automatically and often faster and more precisely than it would be possible.
